Toshiro Mifune

This is portrait of my favourite japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. I don't often paint people but he is so awesome... I just couldn't resist. I wanted to paint it in japanese style so I have bought ink and three caligraphic brushes. Actually this is my first ink painting of such large size. As you may have noticed there is a little red seal under the japanese signs. It's called hanko... the personal seal, something like artist's sign. I did one only for myself.
